Danny Sit opened his first photography studio in Houston, Texas, earning him a nomination for American Photographer Magazine's Fashion Photographer of the Year. He promptly moved to Sydney and later London, before settling down in New York. His work has appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Grazia, Marie Claire and many other magazines. He has photographed for J.Crew, Macy's, J.Jill, Bloomingdales and various other retail companies. Assignments have taken him to exciting locations such as Sydney, Neseko, Milan, San Tropez, London, Dubrovnik, Kauai, Barcelona and the Greek Islands.
His first book, Tucker, Little Dog Lost and Found, was published in the spring of 2011. It has earned great reviews from Kirkus and others, and is on its third printing. Tucker is based on his own dogs; Danny lives in Southampton, New York, with two Jack Russells.
His photographs have a spontaneous quality, with a fashion twist; a unique vision in capturing those precious moments. Sometimes it's good to break the mold.
